New Clutches in the Shop

~I think I mentioned that I was working on a series of small clutches when I designed my latest tutorial for making Fabric collages. I just added the first of these new clutches to my online shop.
....This little fold over bag is a perfect date night purse or stash bag for your larger purse. ...The closure is a elastic with vintage plastic button. These are all made from my fabric scraps using some new and some recycled vintage materials. All the Buttons are recycled vintage. The bag measures 7"x6" when fastened. Each one is unique there will be no two a like.

~The Lunch Clutch features recycled vintage 1960's tablecloth featuring flatware , ..lemons and strawberries in warm yellows greens, browns and reds. The background color is a very beautiful, very pale yellow. The lining is new cotton. I Love the fake wood grain repeated through the design. This fabric is kinda kooky and kitsch and cotton of course!
~I love this fabric for The Houndstooth clutch( there is a skirt of this fabric in my future) . The outer fabric is a houndstooth print of red cherry and a sandy beige ( such a nice combo)on skinny corduroy. ...The lining is a lovely compliment in green recycled cotton.(I love that big ol' ivory~Esq plastic button goes so well with the sand colored print)

~The Elephant Clutch is probably my favorite maybe because is a special homage to my little burger, and his love of elephants.
...The outer fabric is a safari green linen. ...The back panel has a vintage upholstery scrap with an elephant on it . ...There are also 4 decorative vintage buttons across the back panel. ...The lining is a recycled vintage scrap cotton.
~So that is the first set I will post a new group in a few weeks.

kids stuff

~Yesterday I updated the shop sale with all the kids stuff I had lingering. I had completely forgotten about this sweet little skirt for size 2-3 T . ...Burger fits a 2 T just right( even though he's almost 3), so as you can see this skirt could last a 2 year old probably until she was almost 4.( I am a mean mean mama) ~I have several T shirts with appliques. One of my favorites is the Texas baby Tee sized 6-12 months. ...The applique is a vintage quilt piece. Perfect for a lil' lonestar. ~I have this cool lucky horse one in kid's size small. ..and I have two sized 4T , this skull T on blue
and this one I love, vintage singing cowboy fabric patched on this size 4T

All this kids stuff is priced $10 and under.

ps********Look out for all my ladies skirts coming up.

Sassy New Knickers....

I would not be put off if you called my homemade undies granny panties.... A granny might want to wear these comfortable yet flattering under garments?

~This pair is super soft delicate cotton(100%) knit with vintage stretch lace around the legs I love this pretty ivory lace.... Size small 5. This is the very last of some lovely fabric I scored last spring, The ivory flowers mingle with creamy dots on a faded black back drop.... Quite whimsical and romantic these lil' undies are. The cut is pretty full but still sexy and hark en's back just a little to another era.(I hope to time travel more fully later)

~This pair is a medium with a sexy lowrise on the hips cut . We are lookin' at the early '80s here girls I love this fabric it is tissue weight cotton (97%)knit with classy little silver and gunmetal grey links all over. The waist line is edged in FOE and the leg is black klingere elastic. Simple and Sassy !

~This comfy little night set is made from a pointelle blue knit, scattered with sketchy twin cherries and stars. The size on this set is a xlarge, the undies I would call7/8. With full comfortable coverage and they still look super cute! I love this comfortable 100% cotton fabric. I will be getting more.
~All of these Items are up for grabs in my shop.
